This is one of my favorite paintings I ever did-but unfortunately (or really fortunately), it sold before it had time to dry. Thus, I didn’t get to have time to enjoy it before it sold. Anyway, I painted this with in mind the power of prayer. I have noticed throughout the years that the best prayer warriors are grandmothers and grandfathers. Seniors are usually quiet and less active at their age, but can they pray! I also wanted to express the quiet but powerful fire that resides in our hearts when we are passionate about prayer.
