ST. John’s Cemetery in Richlandtown, Pa

This is a place very close to where I live. There were beautiful old trees throughout the cemetery. The residents loved those trees but one day they were cut down. It changed the look of the entire cemetery. One local photographer, Nicholas Fritz posted online a photograph that he took before the trees were taken down. I was immediately drawn and fascinated with the lights that I had to paint it! I contacted Nicholas and he gave me permission to use his picture for my painting. Thanks Nicholas!!
